In memory of..
Jasper
Sadly, Jasper had to be put to sleep recently due to a serious illness but we had six wonderful years with him. He was a small, ragged, fur-less bundle when we first saw him, he had been found by Jan as a stray in a pretty poor state. We loved him the minute we saw him and after a few months his coat had become long, red and lustrous and he grew into a large, fabulous, red tom cat and became an integral part of the family. He sensed moods and tension and was an efficient stress buster, slept where he wanted and always came on holiday with us. He loved being kissed, cuddled and brushed and managed to convey exactly when he wanted his favourite nibbles. We miss him terribly and I'm having to stop writing this every few minutes due to tears. I thought you would like to see a picture of Jasper wearing his England rugby scarf, although I am sure he would have worn it in support of the England football team.
