Chelsea

What can I say about our beloved Chelsea who died in tragic circumstances tonight 2.11.04. She came to us with her close friend Rosie in 1997, aged about 8 with very few teeth and a stroppy nature!! She was a beautiful tabby cat who we loved to bits. She had a thyroidectomy and was possibly going to need another. Today, at some point she went out - something she never did and something happened to her whilst she was out, she was found in a terrible state wet and cold in a garden, fortunately someone thought she was ours and knocked just as my son and I were about to go and look for her. We rushed her in and did all we could. Sadly, a few minutes later she gave some gasps, cried and looked straight at me and left us. Chelsea is survived by her pal Rosie and our other FOAL cats Cleo and Patch. We will never forget her and I will miss being 'gummed' when she is in a mood. She even learnt to copy the dogs and put her paw up to ask for food!!
