In memory of..

Boy

Just to let you know that Boy died this weekend. When he was at Foal he was known as Scruffy (we got him with his mum Susie), now known as Sonar. I fell in love with him instantly when I saw him, lying on his back sunbathing, at Foal.

It was a long way for him to get to the road and even when he did, we live in a small village and the road is not busy. Unfortunately it appears he was chasing another cat and ran across the road in front of a car - he was just very unlucky. We did all we could, but it was decided that the kindest thing was to put him to sleep.

We are both devestated - he was a larger than life character, and very, very special. He was always there waiting for me every evening to escort me back home. He always slept beside me at night - waking me up if he was cold to go under the duvet, if he wanted a cuddle, or just to let me know he was there.

Sadly, he should have had many more years of fun - he so loved life, but at least he knew without any shadow of doubt that he was so loved. We were so lucky to have the little time we had with him.

No matter how hard this is, we will not let it put us off making a home for another abandoned soul -so expect to see us back at Foal.....
