Ben

We adopted Ben and Jerry (formerly known as Tweedledum and Tweedledee!) in November 2001 when they were about a year old and they have both brought us a great deal of happiness.. Abandoned by their original owners, they were very timid with us at first, but after lots of love and attention they soon become extremely affectionate cats with great personalities. Very sadly, Ben was hit by a car on 28 December 2003, the driver didn't stop, but somebody found him in the road and kindly contacted us. We were devastated, but comforted by the fact that at least during his short life he had found a happy home with us, thanks to Foal Farm, and that he had been really loved and treasured. We buried him in our garden with his blanket and favourite toy. We miss Ben very much, he was such a character and we loved him dearly. Jerry is missing him too, but is also enjoying being spoiled with prawns (her favourite food!) and having the attention all to herself.
