Happy Endings Archive
![]() Our beloved Hugo died - we adopted him when he was about 14 yrs old and had one idyllic year with him. There was a big gap to fill so we went along to Foal Farm. We saw "Pippin" a gorgeous tabby and white cat with glorious green eyes. |
He meowed at us and we fell in love with him. We asked him if he wanted to come home with us and he said "Yes" and he became our "Eddie Pipkin". He loves his huge garden and spends quite a long time in it. I am afraid that the mice he catches and brings in aren't very happy! Luckily he doesn't have the same success with birds. He loves his new family and spends a lot of time sitting on laps and beds. He is affectionate and gives and receives love in equal measures. He also spends a lot of time sleeping on our new, pale sofa with his own special towel on it!! We are very, very happy with him and, if he could speak, he would probably reciprocate. |
![]() Here Floyd is in his tree outside the house where he waits for his friends around the neighbourhood to return |
We homed Fred, whom we renamed Floyd at Christmas and after quickly settling in with only one or two minor mishaps he made our home, his house. He has since become a firm favourite with our neighbours whom he visits on a regular basis, in fact he is a minor celebrity on our street and everybody knows Floyd the cat! He was sorely missed when we recently went on holiday and he had a stay in the local cat hotel everyone was delighted to see him on his return. He is a funny cat full of character, bold, cheeky and very loving he was a great find. |
