If any of you admit to being an 'old visitor' to our pages, you will remember the story of Malcolm, our bald kitten? He was not expected to survive and was rehomed to a lovely family who were prepared for the heartache of losing him. We were so grateful to them when they took Mum, Jessica (top picture), as well and vowed to make his life as full and happy as possible. He is now 3yrs old and going strong in spite of now being on treatment for epilepsy! He is not exactly bald but......! |

Diddles was
our star mum as she took on two orphan kittens that would have surely died
without her TLC! Now she is free of maternal duties she is enjoying life as you
can see! Her new family write... We had thought we were getting a quiet cat but she is very mischevious and loves to play with anything that is not allowed - the curtain ties, the children's toys, pens etc. She loves to wake us up by licking our faces or purring in our ears to let us know it is breakfast time - she loves her food and has put on weight. We love her to bits! |

Houdini is a
very special cat and it took a while to find just the right home for him! He is
now known as Korky and is now happily settled in his new home. Korky is in excellent health and has a strong appetitie. It took him just a day to decide he wanted to be with everyone else and now finds a lap or sofa every evening so he can watch TV in comfort. He can't jump higher than 18ins as the injury to his ear seems to have affected his balance but that doesn't deter him! He is a cat 'with attitude', he slams the cat flap as he goes through and makes as much noise as a teenager going up and down the stairs! He seems to have reached an agreement with the neighbouring cats although he still sometimes tries to pick a fight, even though they are all so much bigger than him! |
