ODE TO HUGO (aka Rubyn), MY ELDERLY, SKINNY, TATTY, GINGER ADOPTED CAT

You are a furry ratbag,

You never do a stroke of work
You jump on the laps of complete strangers with the sole intention of underlining my own social inhibitions
Sometimes your breath smells fishy Not only are you colour-blind you also cannot tell the difference between a pet bed and a work top You pretend that you find the word "no" incomprehensible

You insist on sharing your unmelodious yowl with the entire household
I give you delicious food but you try to steal everybody else's plus the food I am preparing
I put out water for you but you drink from the sink
For some reason you are afraid of being alone Being alone just freaks you out
You sleep for 18 hours a day but bash my bedroom door down at 5am
You are utterly shameless
You are the laziest, noisiest most stubborn and presumptuous thing I have every known but I think you're perfect and I love you to bits

Suki and Whiskey are very lovely cats and very friendly already. They have taken charge of our bungalow and are enjoying it. Thanks very much. we love them already.

This was written just a few days after they went to their new home, who says there is no such thing as love at first sight!
Robson & Bigsy (Royle) are looking really contented in their new home. They have everything arranged to their liking obviously!!

His previous owners will be very pleased to see this picture of him looking so well. We exchanged emails concerning the necessity of regular grooming of long hair cats which is essential to prevent problems with fur balls etc in the future.
Roddy is very settled in his new home, as you can see from the photo he is now king of the house! Its amazing how human he is and comes to greet us with a playful growl when we come back from work! We've also discovered he loves curling up in the bathroom sink and scratches the side to let us know to turn on the cold tap! He is such an affectionate and amusing cat and he is much loved. Thank you for bringing us together with such a lovely cat.
