This letter came after Alfie & Bobby had been in their new home for a year. It goes to show how sociable cats can be even if they have not previously lived together!

I cannot tell you how happy we are. Bobby was my new brother and although he was older than me, he needed to be shown the ropes and needed a little gentle encouragement. But now we love each other. Every, now and then I like to give Bobby a little lick on the head to show him I care. We have a great house and can sit anywhere. Except in the kitchen I can't understand that one. We often go and explore the garden but always try and come home before it's dark, mum worries. Then we all sit down and watch telly together on the sofa. Thank you so much Foal Farm for finding us this home.
Just a quick one to let you know Smokey has made himself at home. He hid under Ruth's dressing table for an hour, but made his own way downstairs to spend the evening with us. We are loving his company as he really has taken a shine to us, and is in to everything including our bin !!! Here are some pic's to let you know who the boss is.

It is always good to have repeat bookings! In most situations there is no problem integrating a new cat into an existing household but it does take time and common sense. We can always offer advice to help ease the process.
I have rescued 3 cats from FOAL over the years. Honey arrived in November 1998 because she kept looking at me with gorgeous green eyes and begging me to take her home, which I did! She has gradually grown in confidence and is now so affectionate and loving. She talks all the time and doesn't even mind being picked up! She didn't want to go out at first but has now ventured out although she mainly likes to stay in and be pampered. She was 5ish when I rescued her which makes her almost 12 now! Coco was rescued in October 2002 with her daughter, Twiggy. She is a wonderful cat and seems so happy. She talks incessantly and is famous for her 'exfoliating face-scrubs'. If I am laying down she will proceed to lick my nose, forehead, cheeks and even, on occasions, my hair!! When she has finished I have to wash my face! I live at the end of a cul-de-sac so it is a perfect playground for cats to run around outside to their hearts content. Twiggy is equally as affectionate and has the loudest purr. She is totally fearless of anything - what she HASN'T brought through the cat-flap isn't worth talking about! Coco and Twiggy are so close, they are constantly grooming each other - but Honey loves their company as well. I am so pleased I chose such beautiful animals.
Lucy was not a all happy with us here at the Farm , it is certainly a different story now she has a loving homeof her own! Liz writes:

From the moment Lucy got here she made herself at home – completely different to the shy little scaredy cat we first met at Foal Farm. She’s really playful and although she can still get a little jumpy, she is a lot more confident and is quite a bossy boots at times! But she seems really happy and we love having her here – so many thanks Foal Farm!
