Buddie - now called Agatha has settled in well. Her and Holly have got on surprisingly well, with only the occasional hiss and swipe from Ags towards Holly - hardly surprising as Holly is twice the size of Ags, but not for long I fear as Agatha is eating everything in sight! I have never seen one small cat eat as much as she does! (The little tinker stole a slice of bread the other day and ate that) Luckily this has provolked Holly to eat more and not be as fussy as she can sometimes be. Sometimes I wonder what Holly makes of Agatha when she is having a mad fit, dashing round the house playing hunt and kill the hair-band. Even though Ags had had several litters of kittens already, she is still very much a kitten herself and has explored every inch of the house. Hopefully the weather will be better this weekend so we can show her the garden. Matt and I (and Holly!) are delighted that Ags has come to live with us and that she is such a little sweetie. She is helping to heal the void we all feel at the loss of our much loved Jinx! We feel that we are a proper family again! Many thanks Jan! She is lovely! |
![]() I can't thank you all enough for letting me have Sunny, it took me a year after my other cat passed away to even think about a replacement, and it feels like Sunny has been a part of my life for a lot longer than 1 month. Sunny says "thanks for looking after me, but I've found my final home and I have no intention of seeing you again!' Many thanks to all at Foal Farm, keep up the good work. |
When I first saw Sunny on your website, there was a note saying that he'd been brought back for going to the toilet in the house. I can safely say that, apart from one little accident on his second day in the house, he has been the cleanest cat I have ever come across. He is the most adorable and gentle cat, he loves waking me up at around 5am every morning for a cuddle and if I don't oblige he will pull my hand towards him just to encourage me!! When I got him home, he took 10 minutes to explore, then made himself very comfortable on my lap for the rest of the afternoon. My two other cats have finally realised that he's not going to disappear and have relented with the mean behaviour towards him, although to his credit Sunny has never once risen to the bait and completely ignored their hostility. I think he's just too old and laid back to be bothered by it all. |

The kittens have settled in well, its amazing how they have grown in only a week. They have been re-named as Merry and Pippin, both are developing different characters already. Merry, the black and white one, loves to have a fuss made of him most of the time, and is fatter and more lazy than Pippin. Pippin is more playful and adventurous, and they are both just beginning to explore the house. They are both fine at night and havent cried once, they both appear to happy. Our four year old cat, Angel is not sure what to make of them, at the beginning of the week she was hissing at them, but by yesterday she was much more friendly towards them ,even mothering them on one occasion when Pippin was exploring in a cupboard. |
