A very special Happy Ending as Dexter is FIV+ and could so easily have been put to sleep if he had ended up somewhere else!

Dexter is a big softie but Lucy (our existing FIV+ cat) sometimes hisses at him and chases him if he gets within close range. It has only been just over a week though so its still early days, I am sure she will back down sooner or later! You can see he really is happy and well loved by us. (How could we not love him he is totally adorable isn't he?!) I particularly love the way he jumps on our bed and if you start to tickle him he flops over and stretches his paws out so you have to stroke his belly! Thanks again for letting us have him!
I know you like to hear from people after they have adopted cats, Mike's doing absolutely fine. We love having him around. He started off a bit jumpy and would occasionally bite us but he's really mellowed out now. Our only crisis so far has been when he got locked in our neighbour's garage with their cat, Fred. He had never stayed out all night and I was worried sick. I was walking up and down the road with a torch at 2am calling him. I didn't sleep at all. I actually cried with relief when we found him the next morning.
Here’s some pictures of Billy and Charlie, (adopted as kittens, Domino and Blackjack), they’re both doing great, and as you can see, have settled right in. They’re thoroughly loved by both me and by boyfriend
Persil & Comfort, who as you can see from the photo, are completely loving their new home (and had a very happy Christmas, thanks to Paul!) P.S No cats were humiliated in the making of this photo, I superimposed the hats on to them.
Just to let you know, the boys were so excited to bring the kittens home on Friday.Eddie kept saying, '' Am I dreaming, or are they here at last!'' Both Kai (Margaret) and Squeak(Maurice) settled in really quickly.By Friday evening they were exploring all over the kitchen. We put a baby gate over the door on Saturday, with chicken wire over, so they could look out into the hall. They both look eager to explore more of the house.Kai has come out of her shell, and is the more forward one at the moment, with Squeak following her.
