![]() Congratulation on an excellent website without it I would never have found Tonka. Modesty prevents.... but thank you Gavin, it does take a lot of work to keep the website updated but is is so worhtwhile when we get a letter like this. Tonka was not the easiest cat in the world and had already been retunred from 2 homes - 3rd time is defintely lucky for her! |
After wanting a cat for some time, luck (and Google) brought me to your site and Tonkas face markings and description attracted me. Our first visit was short but sweet and the decision was made by her of course! She has settled in very quickly and has patiently taught me the rules of her house all I have to do is provide her with a warm lap to sit on and regular top-ups to her food bowl! Despite warnings that she doesnt like women, she gave the lady vet no trouble when her claws were cut, and has shown no signs of aggression to my mother, so hopefully she is showing her true character. She has already had her first (unplanned) excursion outside at 12am when putting the bins out, but I hope soon to let her out to stretch her legs more often, and get rid of the rather plump belly she grew while at the farm (another reason I feel an empathy with her!) She is everything I could have wanted, and she has asked me to write to encourage others to visit the farm and give her old friends there the same chance of a happy home |

These two babies were called Draughts and Domino. We've decided to call them Rocky and Max. They have both grown so much since we got them in July. They are 2 brothers and they are really close. They always cuddle up to eachother to go to sleep. When they are awake they are 2 little devils... I'm sure anyone who has kittens knows what I mean! The house is really lively since these 2 arrived. It's lovely. They have an incredible appetite, no wonder they grow so fast! Our other cat Taz is now slowly getting used to them. He was sulking for the first few months and refused to come inside the house. I think the little ones were just a bit too lively for him as he likes his naps and relaxing. All in all it has been a joy to have them with us and we look forward to spending more fantastic times with them. Thank you Foal Farm. Love Jessica and David |
![]() A big thank you. say Jacqui ' and Liz, Chops's new owners! Thank you Jacqui & Liz for giving him a new life! |
Happy to let you know Chops, who we adopted in May, is now well and truly king of the house. It's been lovely to see him come out of his shell and form an attachment with the females of the house . He is now starting to come on the beds in the morning to wake us up. It's taken all this time to show his true personality i.e. a brute to other cats in the area but a real softy to us. We adore him very much and thank you very much for letting us have him. |

Comfy has obviously lived up to his name! Hedropped us a line to say: As you will see from my photographs, all is going well in my new home. Since coming here on Sunday 15 August I've found several "comfy" chairs and beds and I've made a big impression with the resident female feline "Teasel" - although she doesn't seem too pleased when I chase her. The servants are coming along nicely too! Thank you for making my stay at Foal Farm so pleasant and I hope my friends still there will find new homes as nice as mine! |
