This is Ella. She adopted us in April 1996, the best thing that has ever happened to us. She is - as you can see - extremely beautiful, but is also a real character, a huge personality in a small package. Woody - as she was known at Foal - had been homed once before but returned. When she came to us, she took several months to settle down, but it was worth the wait. She can be quite "spiky" and headstrong, but is loving and playful with us. She loves to play hide and seek, enjoys afternoon siestas on our bed, supervises gardening activities while purring loudly, greets us with a gallop and a chirrup, and moves her toy rat around the house with a strange but - clearly to her - meaningful logic. She brings us love, happiness, peace and laughter. There is no-one in the world we would rather be with. We were so lucky to meet Ella and that she agreed to come and live with us - we wouldn't swap her for the world! |

Regular visitors to the site will remember Biggins - he was on the desperate pages for ages! He went to a new home last Sunday - read what his new owners have to say: He has taken over the house; the bed; the settee, any cool spot he can find! He has a new girlfriend, she likes him and they eat from the same bowl! He follows us about purring and wakes us up by licking our eyelids. I groomed him on Monday and he loved it, he even let me stroke his belly for the first time! |

Poor George, he was very poorly and during veterinary investigations was found to be FIV+. The majority are perfectly healthy but sometimes extra nursing is required - having lost one last month, Lesley volunteered for the job and George is now 'curled up on the sofa' with long suffering husband, Kevin! |
