![]() I have no idea what she went through before being looked after by the kind people at FOAL Farm but I think she had a pretty rough time. We don't know either but she sounds in safe hands now! |
I never realised how much work was involved in taking on Valerie but without a shadow of doubt it has been worth it. When I got her home she hid under the bath for about 2 weeks and only came out to eat. Then she moved under my bed for another few weeks !!. Its now 5mths since she come home with me and what a transformed cat she is! She is definitely an outdoor cat and spends all her time sunbathing. She doesn't leave the garden and is very content and happy exploring her new home. She gets on great with Ted my other little tiger. There is still a long way to go as she can still have the odd moment when she hides away but I have no doubt we will get to the point when she is totally settled. |

A local football team was playing - and won! - the day these kittens were brought in to us. They got named Crystal, Palace and Champion! A family came looking for a pair of kittens - how could you leave one behind? The answer was they couldn't so they all went home together! Aren't they doing well! |

Hi. Please find
attached a few pictures of Spike, as he is now known, (originally
Momins). We picked him up from Foal Farm back in February and ever since he has
loved his new house and the attention that he gets from everybody. He is the
Lord of the Manor here & he wants to know everything that goes on around.
He loves playing out in the garden and rolling about in the grass and then
being sick when he's eaten too much, but we won't go into too much detail
there! We would like to thank the staff at Foal Farm for giving us the opportunity to have a great cat like Spike & we will keep you updated on how he's doing. What can I say! |

We thought we would send you a photo of little Mishka to let you know how she is getting on. We've had her for just over a month now and she owns the place!!! Mishka has a lovely manner, very affectionate and loves her catnip mice! To begin with she wasn't a 'lap cat' but now she certainly makes herself comfortable! She eats well and has put on weight since you last saw her, so is no longer the skinny little thing you may remember! We started Mishka on tinned meat, as you would expect, but quickly came to realise that she doesn't eat it - just licks off the jelly and gravy! She now eats dried food and the odd treat of prawns, duck and anything else going!!! Mishka has just started to roam around the garden and has quickly become a jungle cat - climbing a tree or two!! Definitely a good choice from both sides! Thanks for all your help and I hope that many other people have as much success as we have. |
