Cassie & Blackberry are clearly doing fine in their new home! Blackberry as we now call Tigger (more ladylike!) is the adventurous cheeky one who often seems to be in some sort trouble and makes funny little prp noises as she shoots off. It's nice to have a long talk with her when she gets back from one of her many catty adventures! Cassie (softened from Kaz) Is the quiet shy type who prefers the comfort of the home and spends most of her time with us indoors. She loves playing with sticks but hasn't quite got the hang of fetching them yet! She does this with her favorite feather on a string toy (though she prefers the string end) which she will often drag in to which ever room we may be in, with a funny little mewing noise!

We are extremely grateful to people such as Christine who really wanted to help a desperate cat. In fact she helped both our longest stay resident and one of our 'golden oldies' - and she couldn't resist Rupert, so that made three!
Just thought you'd like to see the three little darlings on their first morning in the new home! They have a "safe-room" but we left the doors open for them to investigate. Flossie has learnt to squeak! She seems to love a fuss, she's quite a little princess! Inky (formerly Rupert but we kept thinking of the golden bear with the plaid trousers so finally changed his name this morning) is soooo grateful to have been adopted and follows me everywhere like a dog. I have to look down before I step back! Tom has found the settee! Yesterday, he was very nervous but this morning he chose to get up on one of the sofas and stand on my lap and then curl down beside me, and stayed there even when I got up to get the camera. He's very territorial and Flossie and Inky are definitely towing HIS line but they don't appear to be at all concerned by the fact that they must. Well not at the moment anyway but it's early days. So peace reigns in the house and we'll see how it all progresses.
