![]() Jan says that she took a lot of advice before choosing Casper and writes: Casper was the perfect choice for us. Thanks for your advice, Foal Farm. It is very easy to be tempted to choose a cat on looks or age alone so please ask the staff to help you make the right decision for both of you! Read what else Jan has to say about her new pet, hopefully she has discovered that cats are much easier then dogs - and they don't have to be walked in the rain! |
Casper (alias Georgie) is our first cat. He has been with us now since 1 November and, after initial nervousness, he has settled in very well. We have previoisly owned dogs and it has taken us a while to get used to Casper's independence. However, now that he has settled he feels very at home and, as soon as anyone sits down, he loves nothing better that to climb on for a cuddle! He is even beginning to play and loves to flick a little white mouse round the room and chase after it. |
![]() ![]() I hope that Santa granted all of Satin's wishes. We will do our best to find equally loving homes for all the cats in our care! |
Satin went home in March with Tom and Sam and stayed under the bed for two days! She continues her story: What a silly cat I was. I am an indoor kitty and I feel so warm and safe in my new home and love meal times. Christmas will be so much fun with all the lights and decorations for me to look at (and play with!)and I bet Santa will bring me a pressie and maybe I'll have some Turkey too! I play with Tom and Sam in the evening and I enjoy it when Sam brushes my coat and I even sleep on the bed with them (how naughty). Merry Christmas to all the staff who looked after me and saved me and to all the other animals, I hope they all get to go to good homes and become as happy as I am now. |

Sexing an adult cat should not be difficult but this gentle giant was thought to be a male - until she visited the vet! So, 12yr old Tiger became Tiger-Lily but I'm sure she hasn't suffered psychologically! Beverly, her new owner writes: She is so affectionate and lovable - I adore her....she is gorgeous, friendly and settling in OK - it certainly looks like it! |

Tom & Lizzie' s owner moved in to sheltered accommodation and was only allowed to take one of her cats This is better than most, many establishments will not allow pets at all! They were very bewildered by their change in circumstance but, fortunately, we found them a home together with Mark & Jo who write: Just to let you know that both Tom and Lizzie are doing fine. They've both been to the vets for their boosters. Tom had to go back today to have a little cut looked at (think he's been fighting with Lizzie whilst we've been out!) but he seems ok. |
