![]() We are extremely grateful that she has been able to find a loving home in spite of her problem. Thank you Geoff & Sheila! Following her adoption she had to have a dental and her paralysis problem temporarily reoccurred. This indicates that the problem could be linked to a drug. If you would like to read the story behind her adoption visit Missy. |
Sofi was returned to us, paralysed in the back legs - poison or possibly an allergic reaction was suspected. She made a good recovery but needed constant supervision. She was featured on the website just at the time when Geoff &Sheila had said goodbye to their much beloved Missy. Although unsure whether they could cope with a replacement when their bereavement was so recent, they decided that would help another cat 'in distress'. Initially she was a foster cat - taken on a temporary basis - but it wasn't long before the following letter arrived. It looks like Sofi is here to stay! She made her decision after she was served chicken for her evening meal, her bad legs did not prevent her from rushing into the kitchen at top speed! As you can see she has tried every chair in the house and has her favourites according to the time of day. Her legs don't bother her when she jumps on although sometimes give way when she jumps off. Her idea of being special needs is having constant food available - one rustle in the kitchen and she is there like a flash! We did think it might be too soon to have another cat after Missy but she has such a different personality we can enjoy her whilst still missing Missy! |
![]() Mum, Pebbles was reunited with her owner! After having her rabies vaccination she caught the Eurostar to France! |
Sybil (alias
Joy) was brought in with Mum, Pebbles, when their owner emigrated to France.
Originally the plan was to home them together but she was bullied so the
decision was taken to separate them. Her owners write: She is a real member of the family and loves being with people. She adores sleeping by the fire and obviously likes being an only cat and being the centre of attention! |

Spiro & Duchess left us as kittens! Spiro (ever cautious) had come in with his Mum but she was pregnant again so he was lonely on his own! Duchess (fearless warrior!) was a lonely stray so they became friends and were rehomed together. As it happens Mum was eventually rehomed next door! |

Oliver could not cope with life at Foal Farm so decided aggression was the best form of defence! We could not get near him, entering his room brought on hissing and attacking displays. We are grateful to Silvana of 'Animates' for taking him on - as you can see the quality time spent with him paid dividends and he obviously adores his new owners! |
