We have had Holly and Jinx for a week now! It's as if they've always been here! They have been playing with a 'fishing rod' with a rubbery toy on the end of it. Holly especially likes leaping in the air whereas Jinx prefers the pounce attack! Jinx pulled the toy off the end of the line yesterday but she still enjoys chasing it about. She plays a great game of 'fetch' with it and brings it to you, drops it and waits for you to throw it. Then she brings it back! I think she believes she's a dog! She even brings it to us in bed to continue the game and sits mewing until we play with her! Holly likes to sit on the end of the bed and sing to us through the night! We have taken to playing with them just before bedtime to try and tire, her so that she sleeps instead, but she seems to have bags of energy! |

Pumpkin was dumped in a cardboard box at the end of the Farm drive in 2000. She was matted and very thin - a most unattractive specimen! Fortunately Miriam recognised the treasure that lay beneath and now, thanks to her TLC, Pumpy is a beautiful, happy cat, enjoying life to the full! |

Tigger has written to say he has moved to bigger mousing grounds in West Wickham with his Mum & Dad! No doubt he has also found some suitable sleeping places as near to the food supply as possible! |
