Happy Endings!

Last updated 4 February 2007

When our cats leave Foal we hope they have found a loving home for the rest of their lives. We do assume that 'no news is good news' but are always delighted when a new owner writes and lets us know how things turn out. If you adopt a Foal cat we would love to hear from you and feature your pet in 'Happy Endings'. Please send us your Happy Ending by e-mail to HappyEndings@foalcats.org.uk or by post to the Farm.

Our longer standing visitors will remember that Tommy and Felix were with us for many weeks and the resulting stress resulted in some 'digestion problems'!! We were very grateful to Tracy for taking them on, as you can see they look very contented now and even welcome Archie from next door!

We are always very grateful when people take on our 'Senior citizens' for whatever time they have left. As you see from the letter, it brings joy to both cat and owner!
I am glad to say that Georgie arrived home safe and well. She has tucked into chicken, cod and rice and a little cat milk. Our other cats haven't met her yet but she has used their litter tray and was fine - She is such a sweet-pea! We have given her a bit of a clean and she looks a lot better now her face is clean but I think having just the one beautiful tooth means a lot gets stuck to the end of her nose!! She is so precious and we are blessed that we are able to give something in return for all the love and happiness our cats have given us over the years. However long Georgie is with us we will count each day as a gift!
Our thanks to you.

Many FIV+ cats are destroyed as people are worried about the possible risks. We rehome them as indoor cats to ensure they don't pick up infections from other cats. As you can see, they make great friends!
I took Randall from you in Feb 2006, after the death of Chelsea my cat. We changed his name to Bruno and he is a delight to have around. He so affectionate and seeks my company all of the time, he has been instrumental in getting me through the grieving process. We have had a couple of trips to the vets for minor infections but generally he is very well and I can forget that he is FIV positive. I am so grateful that I found him and cant thank you enough for letting me have him. I’ll keep you posted as to how he is from time to time.
